Happy 4th of July Eve! Independence Day doesn’t just mark the birth of our nation, it marks the high point for off-premise beer sales. WalletHub data shows consumers spent over $1 billion on beer last 4th of July!

The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) and FinTech looked at on and off premise beer volumes in the United States and found, for off-premise consumption, the top beer holiday was 4th of July, followed by Memorial Day and Labor Day. In fact, NBWA estimates that in some states, its wholesalers will deliver twice as much beer this week as they will in typical weeks.
